Ambry Genetics is also heavily involved with the patient community and we support many of the major nonprofit organizations involved with genetic conditions. We also are associated with the founders of MauliOla.org, a non-profit organization that introduces children with Cystic Fibrosis, Autism, and other genetic diseases to the benefits of surfing while also raising awareness of a healthy lifestyle and exercise.

Diagnostic Services
For years Ambry Genetics has been working with almost every major Children's and University hospital in America. We employ many genetic counselors which highlights our commitment to service. We are CAP Accredited, CLIA Licensed, and we also have our own in-house medical technologist training program. We provide newborn screening support for multiple states, and are involved in technology development for some of the largest companies in diagnostics. Our commitment to service is paramount in everything we do.
Genomic Services in support of Academic & Industry Researchers
Staying true to Ambry Genetics innovative spirit, our Genomic Services division offers a full range of technologies such as microarrays, sequence-capture technologies and next-generation sequencing. We have extensive experience handling human samples as well as a wide variety of animal, plant, and microbial species.
Ambry Genetics' scope of clients encompasses national and global research projects with some of the world's most respected academic institutions and small to large pharmaceutical companies. Our experience, professional partnerships and certifications make us a trusted provider to the research community. As a testament to our expertise, a large portion of our service requests come from referrals and repeat clients.
Patient Advocacy
Ambry Genetics is more than just a lab as its founders created the non-profit Mauli Ola Foundation in 2007. Mauli Ola means "breath of life" in Hawaiian and its mission is to promote genetic disease awareness and to enhance the lives of those affected through exercise and a healthy lifestyle. The foundation's hallmark event is Surf Experience Days in which patients with genetic disorders are paired with professional surfers and surf instructors for lessons and fun practice in a supportive environment.
